SELECTION QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR STATE SQUAD NOMINEES

Players wishing to nominate to participate in the State Trials must meet the following Criteria:

1. Must play in the State Teams Championships representing their Parent Association

2. Would be expected to play in the Metropolitan or Country Teams Championships

3. Must have played in 3 ranked singles

4. Must play in a weekly competition for an affiliated Association

5. The first trial on July 28th and 29th will be an elimination trial where the Selectors will
select the final group to go forward to the 2nd trial on August 4th and 5th

6. Players will be selected on ability and overall performance

Players should be aware that if selected in the State Team they must be prepared to be available for any commitment the State Captain and Manager has set. The weekend of August 18th and 19th has been locked in for all State players and Officials to travel to Albany and this will be a compulsory weekend.
We encourage all players to play darts for their associations in metros/country and State Championships for their Associations. We also realise that due to unforeseen circumstances some players may not be able to fulfil those weekends and our aim is to give players opportunity to excel to state level.
Selectors have the right to include players they consider eligible to participate.

If any player has a query or needs clarification on any point please speak to:
